Dear Friends,
Please check out this great website–Dogcancer.net. You will find outstanding articles and great information on different types of dog cancer, treatment as well as outstanding scientific explanations of what is going on if your pet has received a cancer diagnosis. When Rosie was first diagnosed with cancer, this is the site that really helped me understand what we were facing and ways that we could fight it. You will find great testimonials from pet owners there as well.
When your dog gets a cancer diagnosis, it is always best to just gather as much information as possible. I think you will find this site extremely helpful and informative.
As always, please let me know if we may help in any way.
Hugs,
Dorla, Bogie and Baby
I would love to know which commercial food is best for my GSD with prostate cancer. He is on K9 Immunity Plus, Maritime Pine Bark Extract, Selenium, Bachs Flower Essense for Prostate Support, CoQ10 and probiotics. He does not like ANY of the homemade recipes that I have tried, especially raw. I am looking for a top quality food regardless of the cost. Any recommendations? Thanks!
My beloved dog Maddie has skin lymphoma. There are many challenges with this type of cancer. I am looking for others that might have some options they have used to help the lesions associated with this cancer.
For the love of Maddie.
Hi Cathy and Maddie,
The scientists who make K9Medicinals recommend, and feed their own dogs, a commercial dog food called “Taste of the Wild.” It is all meat, no fillers and made in the U.S. That is also what I feed Bogie and Baby. I have talked to the developer and President of the company who makes it. My dogs love it and are doing great on it. I have found the cheapest prices to be at our local “feed” store rather than the boutique style pet stores. I don’t believe any of the big chain pet stores carry it.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have trouble finding it or I can give additional information.
Hugs to you both,
Dorla, Bogie and Baby

Hi Michael and Mandy
I am so sorry about Maddie’s diagnosis. We are a family business and sell the products because our own beloved dog had cancer and was given two weeks to live. K9Immunity extended our Rosie’s life by two years so we are passionate about helping others going through this trauma. We know how truly awful it is.
It sounds like you are on the right track. Most of the studies show that a high protein, low carbohydrate diet is best as the “carbs” feed the tumors. It is always wise to check with your vet since every case is different. We cooked Rosie’s food and also feed her ( and now our other two rescued dogs) a prepared food called “Taste of the Wild.” It is made primarily from different kinds of meat with no fillers and nothing made in China. It is made in the U.S. I don’t know if you can purchase it in your country. Home made is really the best.
We believe in our products, K9Immunity and K9Immunity Plus. Those are the products that kept Rosie alive. You can read other testimonials on our websites. The fish oil is great as well. Just make sure that it doesn’t have any additives. Usually, the cheaper the fish oil, the better as the cheap kind doesn’t have additives.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or we may be of additional help.
Big hugs to you all,
Dorla, Bogie and Baby
Hi, I would like to ask if these supplements are for dogs with spleen/liver cancer, not having chemo treatment? I also like others have my dog eating protein diet. My dog Buster has an enlarged spleen,we have chose not to do oral cancer treatment, due to possible side effects and not eating to much possibly after chemo treatment. So we decided to keep Buster comfortable, and love on him and cherish each day we have left with him. For the most part he is doing OK. Eating but very picky, drinking, moving around but not as active as before. Kidneys, bladder, bowels, seem to be functioning okay. Busters platelet count was very low and has since improved some. Would this k9 plus supplement be helpful for our dog in means of immune support .
